About me

Utilizing empirically supported models to help people make meaningful change in their lives

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as other “third-wave” behavior therapies as a foundation for growth. Each hour and each day, I am committed to compassion, curiosity, openness, and nonjudgment and know that our work will go as far as you’re willing to trust me. I treat this work with reverence and deep care for the vulnerability inherent in seeking support.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor, receiving my Masters in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in addition to my Bachelors in psychology from Bowling Green State University. I currently hold professional licenses in Arizona, Colorado, and Illinois and am seeing client in-person in Colorado Springs, CO

My specialties include:

  • depression

  • anxiety

  • stress management

  • self-esteem

  • grief and loss

  • self-injury

  • body-image

  • career exploration

  • life transitions

  • lack of meaning/purpose

I find it fundamentally important to bring curiosity and patience to help people cultivate a life worth living. I have received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, Relational Frame Theory (RFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I primarily use ACT to help people step fully into their lives and values. I believe that I can be most helpful when my clients set meaningful goals for therapy and I hope to create an open, warm, honest environment. I often use mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies within sessions in order for people to live in line with the values they hold dearest. To live authentically can be a harrowing and deeply rewarding journey, and I will work with your strengths and values in pursuit of that journey.
